As an independent contractor, our providers will maintain the highest standards of integrity and person-centered care. Providers earn non-taxable income in addition to room and board compensation for providing quality, individualized care in your home. We provide ongoing formalized training and development, case management and support to ensure your success.
Our providers are responsible for supporting the needs of our individual(s) in a safe and nurturing environment. Supports vary and are based on the individuals’ specific needs and wants and may include assistance with the following: activities of daily living, social skill development, medication administration, transportation, behavior supports and community integration.
The ideal Host Home provider:
Must have a desire to help enrich the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have reliable transportation
Must complete and pass all pre-screenings including criminal, CAPS and motor vehicle background checks.
Must complete QMAP, First Aid/CPR, NVCPI and agency training
